With the glow spray you apply the afterglow effect directly to the surface – no mixing required. Yellow-green shows a yellow shade in daylight and glows yellow-green in the dark. Because the daylight colour is tinted, it glows for a slightly shorter time than the whitish natural shades. It is charged by daylight or lamp light, as often as you like.

Properties

  • Surfaces: wood, metal, stone, plastic and many more
  • Drying: touch-dry after 15–20 minutes, dry after 25–35 minutes
  • Coverage: approx. 3 m², depending on the surface and number of coats
  • Colour: yellow by day, yellow-green in the dark
  • Charging: with daylight or lamp light, fastest with UV light
  • Origin: Made in Germany

How to spray it correctly

  1. Clean, degrease and dry the surface; lightly sand smooth surfaces. Mask adjacent areas.
  2. Shake the can vigorously for one minute until the balls can be heard rattling; shake briefly again in between. Ideally use at 20 °C or above.
  3. Spray from a distance of about 30 cm, parallel to the surface, and keep moving evenly.
  4. Apply several thin coats rather than one thick one – this gives the strongest and longest glow.
  5. Afterwards, turn the can upside down and spray for 3 seconds to keep the nozzle clear.

Tip: On a white or light surface the spray glows considerably more strongly than on a dark one. Outdoors, cover it with a transparent acrylic or exterior varnish.

What's included

1 spray can with 400 ml of glow spray yellow-green and an additional spray nozzle for finer application.

Good to know

The spray is an effect paint: the glow is visible in real darkness and does not replace lighting. Protect the pressurised container from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C; do not spray onto a flame. Not for children under the age of 14. The safety instructions are on the can; you can download the safety data sheet from this page.

Frequently asked questions

How many coats do I need?
For a good glow, two to three thin coats. Each additional coat strengthens and extends the glow: the spray glows for several hours – the more coats and material, the longer. Let it dry briefly between coats.
Does the spray also last outdoors?
Yes, with protection: cover the dried glow layer with a transparent acrylic or exterior varnish. Outdoors, the glow is only visible where it is really dark.
Why is my surface glowing weakly?
It is usually due to the surface or too little material: dark surfaces absorb light. Prime white first and spray several thin coats. To charge, shine a bright lamp or UV light directly onto it.
Which spray colour glows strongest?
Natural green and the other shades with a whitish daylight colour glow strongest. For technical reasons, strongly tinted shades such as red, pink or purple glow weaker and for a shorter time.
