The glow paint is also known as self-luminous professional paint, UV black light paint, afterglow paint and very bright night glow paint. The glow paints are ultra strong and non-toxic. They are available in 90ml bottles. As they offer the greatest application possibilities among the substances with a luminescent effect, they are very popular in stage and show business. But self-luminous paints are also used in all kinds of everyday areas because they are as easy to apply as wall and acrylic paints. On well-absorbent surfaces (wallpaper and wood) they hold without problems, on smooth surfaces a primer is required. Outdoors, the luminous paint should be sealed with clear varnish because it is not weatherproof. Glow-in-the-dark paints are often used as a means of decoration, but above all as a lighting effect to enhance the mood in dark rooms or at festivities such as Halloween. Noctilucent colours are a real challenge for creative artists.
Premium luminescent colours have a photoluminescence that is long-lasting and a very high luminosity for a duration of up to 8 hours at a time. They are constantly recharged by sunlight and artificial light sources. Compared to conventional incandescent colours, they glow 15-20 times more intensively. They are considered to be particularly long-lasting and stable (at least 16 years).
