Professional lighting granulates of the latest generation are based on strontium aluminate. They are interesting for use in the dark, chemically and healthwise harmless. Intensive in luminosity and long-lasting, they convince with high application possibilities. Strontium aluminate is considered a well-researched substance and cannot be compared with the former noctilucent colours. Several colours and colour combinations as well as different sizes are available in the trade, including blue and green. They are attracting more and more interest in the commercial and professional sectors. Painters, decorators, gardeners, landscape architects and stonemasons like to include luminescent granules in their work. Jewellery designers and artisans are inspired by them and use them to expand their repertoire. They also cause a lot of excitement in the private sector, whether in flower pots, in garden gravel or incorporated into steps and marble window sills.
Until now, we only knew these granules in phosphorescent form and on the basis of zinc sulphide, but the disadvantages outweighed the advantages and prompted us to reconsider. In the meantime, the new granules glow throughout the night and are available in premium quality with photoluminescence. They have a maximum luminosity for more than 12 hours and an immensely more intense luminosity than before. At the same time, they are very temperature-resistant and insensitive to wear and solvents. In this respect, they differ immensely from the well-known glow pebbles and glow granules.
