Which fairy-tale stickers are available?
There are six fairy-tale designs, all 30 cm in diameter and all original lumentics designs. Each shows a scene as a paper-cut silhouette:
- Little Red Riding Hood: Little Red Riding Hood with a bunch of flowers meets the wolf in a forest clearing, while an owl sits in the tree.
- Rapunzel: Rapunzel lets down her braid from the tower window as the prince rides up below.
- Hansel and Gretel: the brother and sister in front of the decorated gingerbread house at the edge of the forest, beneath a starry sky.
- The Star Money: a girl beneath a shower of stars, with a crescent moon, fir trees and an owl.
- The Frog Prince: the princess with the Frog Prince at the well.
- Town Musicians of Bremen: donkey, dog, cat and rooster in front of the little house in the forest, framed by playful clouds.
Why do the fairy-tale stickers glow so softly?
The fairy-tale stickers glow deliberately gently so that children are not disturbed while falling asleep. Only the light areas of the design absorb light and glow green. The dark outlines stay matt. In a dark room, the design shows a clearly visible outline without dazzling. After a full charge, it glows in complete darkness for several hours, strongest in the first few minutes.
Where do the fairy-tale stickers stick?
The self-adhesive vinyl film sticks to woodchip wallpaper as well as to smooth surfaces. These include walls, doors, wardrobes, painted wood, plastic, glass, tiles and metal. Typical indoor spots are a wall, wardrobe door, bedpost, mirror or banister, in a child's room, nursery or hallway.
How to apply the fairy-tale sticker
The sticker goes up in three steps, without tools or extra glue:
- Clean the surface: it should be dry and free of dust and grease.
- Peel off the protective film, place the design where you want it and smooth it down from the centre outwards.
- Before first use, hold it close to a bright lamp or in sunlight for about half a minute.
Tip: In everyday use the design recharges again and again from daylight or room light. Leaving the room light on briefly in the evening before bedtime is enough.
Can fairy-tale stickers be removed again?
Yes, all six fairy-tale stickers can be removed again, even though they adhere well. On delicate wallpaper, peel the sticker off slowly and carefully. That is handy if the child's room is redecorated later.
Good to know
Afterglow is decoration and an aid to orientation, not lighting. It is only visible in real darkness; even a street lamp outside the window outshines the effect.
