How to apply the sticker

1. Clean the surface: it should be dry and free of dust and grease.
2. Peel off the backing, place the motif where you want it and smooth it down from the centre outwards. No tools or extra glue are needed.
3. Before first use, hold it close to a bright lamp or in sunlight for about half a minute. Then switch off the light – the motif glows green.

Tip: In everyday use, the motif recharges again and again from daylight or room light. The brighter the light source, the stronger and longer the afterglow – leaving the room light on briefly before bedtime is enough.

Good to know

Afterglow is decoration and an aid to orientation, not a light source: it only becomes visible in real darkness. It is at its strongest in the first few minutes, then gradually fades to a faint glimmer. Once your eyes have adjusted to the dark, it remains visible for much longer. The glow of the fairy-tale motifs is deliberately subdued: the motif is meant to keep children company as they fall asleep, not to dazzle. Intended for indoor use.
