Planet Sticker Uranus 30 cm – Glow in the Dark

The ice giant for your own wall: during the day the sticker shows Uranus with a blue-grey surface and fine cloud structures. As soon as the light goes out, the design glows greenish and slowly fades over the course of the night.

How to apply the sticker

1. Clean the surface: it should be smooth, dry and free of dust and grease. Woodchip wallpaper works as long as the texture is not too coarse.
2. Peel off the backing film, position the design and press it smooth from the centre outwards. No drilling, tools or extra glue are needed.
3. Before first use, hold it close to a bright lamp or in sunlight for about half a minute. Then switch off the light – the design glows green.

Tip: For the strongest afterglow, put the sticker up near a window or lamp. The brighter the light source when charging, the brighter and longer it glows.

Good to know

Afterglow is for decoration and orientation, not a light source: it is only visible in real darkness. It glows most brightly in the first few minutes, then gradually fades to a faint glimmer. Once your eyes have adjusted to the dark, it can be seen for considerably longer. Intended for indoor use. On heavily textured surfaces the sticker adheres less well than on smooth surfaces.
