Luminous Paint for Watch Hands Blue-Blue 2 g – Fine Glow Paste

The luminous paint for watch hands is a ready-mixed glow paste with a fine particle size – made for small, precise areas such as hand tips, numerals and hour markers. In daylight the paste is tinted blue; in the dark it glows blue. Strongly tinted shades glow for a shorter time than the whitish natural shades.

Also for model making, jewellery, electronics and small markings on switches or keys that should stay recognisable at night.

Properties

• Colour: blue in daylight, blue in the dark
• Afterglow duration: up to 2 hours after a full charge, in complete darkness; slightly weaker than coarser pigments due to the finer particle size
• Fine particle size: can be applied precisely with a needle, toothpick or fine brush
• Ready to use: acrylic-based, no mixing required, can be thinned with water if needed

• Charging: with daylight, lamp light or UV light, as often as you like

How to use the glow paste

1. Take the paste straight from the bottle with a fine needle, a toothpick or a fine brush and apply it.
2. Let it dry and apply a second coat – two coats give a much stronger glow.
3. Too thick? Thin with a little water. Thinning it more reduces the glow.
4. Close the bottle tightly after use so the paste does not dry out.

Tip: The lighter the surface, the stronger the glow. Prime dark hands in a light colour first. For outdoor use, cover the dried layer with a solvent-based sealant.

Good to know
