With the glow spray you apply the afterglow effect directly to the surface – no mixing needed. Natural Blue-Green is whitish with a slight green tint in daylight and glows blue-green in the dark – one of the strongest shades in our spray range. It is charged by daylight or lamplight, as often as you like.

Properties

  • Surfaces: wood, metal, stone, plastic and many more
  • Drying: touch-dry after 15–20 minutes, dry after 25–35 minutes
  • Coverage: approx. 3 m², depending on the surface and number of coats
  • Colour: whitish with a slight green tint by day, blue-green in the dark
  • Charging: with daylight or lamplight, fastest with UV light
  • Origin: Made in Germany

How to spray correctly

  1. Clean and degrease the surface and let it dry; lightly sand smooth surfaces. Mask adjacent areas.
  2. Shake the can vigorously for one minute until you can hear the mixing balls rattle; shake briefly again in between. Ideally apply at a temperature of at least 20 °C.
  3. Spray from a distance of about 30 cm parallel to the surface and keep the movement even.
  4. Apply several thin coats instead of one thick one – this gives the strongest and longest glow.
  5. Afterwards, turn the can upside down and spray for 3 seconds to keep the nozzle clear.

Tip: On a white or light surface the spray glows much more strongly than on a dark one. Outdoors, cover it with a transparent acrylic or exterior varnish.

What's included

1 spray can with 400 ml glow spray Natural Blue-Green and an additional spray head for finer application.

Good to know

The spray is an effect paint: the glow is visible in real darkness and does not replace lighting. Protect the pressurised container from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C; do not spray onto a flame. Not suitable for children under the age of 14. The safety information is on the can; you can download the safety data sheet from this page.

Frequently asked questions

How many coats do I need?
For a good glow, two to three thin coats. Each additional coat strengthens and extends the glow: the spray glows for several hours – the more coats and material, the longer. Let each coat dry briefly before the next.
Does the spray also last outdoors?
Yes, with protection: cover the dried glow coat with a transparent acrylic or exterior varnish. Outdoors, the glow is only visible where it is really dark.
Why does my surface glow faintly?
It is usually down to the surface or too little material: dark surfaces absorb light. Prime white first and spray several thin coats. To charge, shine a bright lamp or UV light directly on it.
Which spray colour glows most strongly?
Natural Green and the other shades with a whitish daylight colour glow most strongly. For technical reasons, strongly tinted shades such as red, pink or purple glow more weakly and for a shorter time.
